Community Advantage Plus Checking

The Community Advantage Plus CAP account is designed to provide an economical checking service to meet your needs while providing free or discounted access to a variety of valuable services.

As a CAP club account member, you are not required to maintain a minimum balance and you will pay one low monthly fee of $6.00 regardless of the number of checks you write.

If you are interested in something other than the CAP account, you may choose from the following:

	ABC Basic Checking - service charge free account with no minimum balance or check writing limits. - no interest
	Regular Checking - $4.00 & $.20/check if balance below $300 - no interest
	NOW Account - $6.00 & $.25/check if balance below $500 - pays interest**
	IMMF* Account - $10.00 if balance below $1,000 - pays interest**

*Federal law permits only six withdrawals per statement period to another account or to third parties by preauthorized, automatic, or telephone transfer - with no more than 3 by check, draft or similar order to third parties. If you exceed six withdrawals per statement period, we will not allow the seventh and charge your account $8.50. Or if you exceed three checks per statement period, we must return the fourth and charge your account $8.50.

Our simple to use account is a great way to save money and earn interest*.  Open your account with as little as $10.00.  If your balance should drop below $100.00, your account will only be charged $2.00 per month.

Most financial advisors agree that a systematic savings program is the best way to accumulate money.  If you like, you can set up an automatic transfer or direct deposit to your savings account so the work is done for you.

Kids Savings

Kids save FREE with MY MONEY CLUB.  This statement savings account has no minimum balance requirement and no monthly service charge until the child turns age 18. Minimum deposit to open MY MONEY CLUB is $10.00.  An adult must be on the account as a joint owner and the account may not be used for check cashing purposes by the adult.  Encourage your child to establish a banking relationship with KCSB and save money in a MY MONEY CLUB.

Certificates of Deposit

Our Certificates of Deposit provide a convenient way to earn competitive market rates while you maintain the security of having your funds insured by the FDIC.  We offer fixed rate Certificates with terms from 32 days to 60 months.

32 day to 90 day terms require a minimum opening deposit of $2,500. 

91 days to 60 months require a minimum opening deposit of $ 500.

Christmas Club Accounts with Interest

Need extra money around the holidays?  Open a KCSB Christmas Club account and for the amount you want to save.  We will provide you with a coupon book to use when depositing as much as you want as often as you like.  Then, in October, we will send you a check totaling your deposits and interest earned.  Now what could be easier than that?
