Kalamazoo County State Bank (KCSB) Respects
Each Customer's Right to Privacy. Following are our Principals of Privacy and Privacy Policy.
KCSB has always recognized and been guided by the belief
that protecting each person's right to privacy is fundamental to the quality
of customer relationships. Given the rapid pace of technological
advancement in our society, the need to protect personal privacy has become
even more important.
To let customers know the high priority KCSB places on
protecting privacy, we want you to be aware of the principles we follow when
collecting, maintaining, using, and safeguarding information about your
relationship with us.

Kalamazoo County State Bank, by Resolution of its Board of Directors, and in accordance with Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999, implementing Regulation P and, to the extent applicable to information sharing among
affiliates, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), adopts the policy set forth below to assure ongoing compliance with the Act and regulations.
I. General Privacy Policy
Kalamazoo County State Bank recognizes and respects the privacy expectations of its customers. In this regard, and in accordance with Regulation P, the Bank has established and
communicated its privacy policy to its customers in the Privacy Notice.
In summary, Kalamazoo County State Bank collects and shares customer information for legal and routine business reasons and for joint marketing as further described below. The Bank
does not sell, share, redisclose or reuse information it collects from customers or third parties with other third parties except as permitted or required by law.
Collection of Information
The Bank collects information from its customers from the following sources:

Information received on applications, or other forms such as name, address, social security number, assets, income and in the case of applications for insurance, health and medical information;

Information about transactions with the Bank or with third parties such as account balance, payment history, products and services used, credit card usage; and |

Information from consumer reporting agencies such as credit worthiness and payment history.

Protection of Information
The Bank restricts access to customer information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services. The Bank maintains physical, electronic, and
procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard customer information.
From time to time, the Bank may enter into agreements with other companies to service accounts or make products or services available to the customer. In accordance with federal law,
the agreements with these companies will include confidentiality and safeguarding provisions.
Sharing of Information for Legal and Routine Business Reasons and for Joint Marketing
The Bank does not disclose any information it obtains about customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. For example, the Bank discloses information necessary to:

Process and service transactions or accounts the consumer requests or authorizes,

Protect against potential fraud or unauthorized transactions,

Respond to judicial process, and
|
 |
Comply with federal, state, or local legal requirements. |
The Bank is also permitted by law to disclose personal nonpublic information to other financial institutions with whom it has joint marketing agreements in order to jointly offer, endorse or sponsor the same products. As

The Bank will not share medical or health information with third parties except to process transactions or to provide services the customer has requested or initiated.
The Bank will not redisclose information it collects or receives from third parties to other third parties or reuse the information other than for the purpose for which it was provided.
Disclosure of Account Number or Similar Access Information
The Bank will not disclose an account number or similar form of access number or access code for a credit card, deposit, or transaction account to a third party for any purpose, other than as required for reporting to a
consumer reporting agency or to service the account.
Application of Policy
The Bank’s privacy policy applies to both current and former customers.
